Spring bulbs update

I feel like a new Mama checking the progress of our new yard. You may remember this post  with photos from when I first planted the bulbs.

Well, I must say for the first year, they seem to be doing pretty good. There are still a few that I think are waiting for the warmer weather to come before showing their little heads. I also think I may have planted some of them too deep in the ground. who follows direction? Clearly not me - LOL. So, today I am planting some summer bulbs. this time I promise (fingers crossed) to follow the directions. Right now, I have Begonias that need planting. I am also thinking of getting some Gladiolas. Day lilies are a MUST have. We had them at our last home and they never failed. Came back every single year!

My goal is to plant a bunch of bulbs this year so I don't have to plant flowers again - or at least not for a while. The only thing I'll need to do is some weeding.
