Photo: Wine and Canvas website Wine and Canvas. How fun does this sound? I first heard about this a few months ago, but didn't really do a lot of research. I started looking into it more as I just started working on what I think is a pretty cool home art project. The concept is that a group of people get together along with an artist who guides you step by step in replicating the nights painting. The vents run from 2 1/2 to 3 hours with breaks. Depending on the night and the painting, the cost range from $35-40. The price includes: The artist, Canvas, paint, brushes, easels and aprons. Want to do a private event? There is a fifteen person minimum. The have the events at various locations and even have their own studio. The studio is located at 3367 East 86th Street in Indy. Think the kiddos would like to do this? Well, you are in luck. They have a Cookies and Canvas program as well. Kids events are $20 and last 2 hours for kids 5-15. Due to allergy concerns, they do not serve refreshments for the kids at these events. You are, however, allowed to bring snacks for your kids. I can not wait to do this! Of course, it's more fun with a few girlfriends. I'll show you our finished art................... K and I are doing this for his birthday in May! Should be a fun time. I'll post both and you get to choose which is the best. |
