I started this blog out as a way for me to share the recipes my girls group was using at our suppers. It sort of changed to all things I love because I liked sharing so much more than my love of cooking. Not to mention, we only meet every other month.
We recently had our second supper - Cinco de Mayo style. This one was hosted by my dear friend, C. Kennedy of cdk management. Her parents were gracious enough to allow us to use their pool house(which by the way is HUGE). The five of us had a blast as always. We had guacamole, pico de gallo, quesadillas, chicken tortilla soup, huevos rancheros, churros, carnitas and rice and shrimp wraps. DELISH!!! The secret to keeping your guacamole from browning? Leave the pits in. They are big enough that no one will eat it by mistake. Besides, it's a great conversation piece. I learned that trick from one of my brother in laws.
So, I'll share some of the photos from the event. I'm happy to share the recipes, just drop me a line.
