Starr Strung pretties

Green Blooms Vintage Necklace

I met Starr Keller  of Starr Strung Jewelry Designs a few years ago. She was one of the vendors at a bridal show I put on. Her designs are truly one of a kind and she is just the nicest person ever.
We've kept in touch via FB and email in the past few years. She recently sent out an email telling about her in home parties. Ok I used to be the QUEEN of in home parties - Mary Kay, Pampered Chef, Longaberger (yes, Longaberger), Partylite Candles, etc.  I mean I threw a good party if I say so myself. Anyway, many years and many products later, I came to the conclusion that the parties are a vicious cycle. You have a party - then, following proper in-home party etiquette you have to attend all the parties booked under you. No offense to anyone, but it's just craziness. Anyway - getting back on track. When I heard about Starr's parties, I knew they would be something different. She will have her hand designed items available for purchase and will even design using items (vintage/new) that you bring. Loving it......
Not sure what I'll serve, but rest assured we'll have some tasty treats!
Check out more of her designs here.

  1. Erika! You are too kind for posting such a nice review - I am so looking forward to your home party, thank you for hosting! And yes - Starr Strung parties are much different than your conventional home hosting. I think women are the busiest people on Earth, and so having an open house style party - where people can come and go according to their own life schedule - and not require any type of their shopping time to be consumed by a company overview, history, etc. - is the best! I display all of my "made" designs during your party, as well as the vintage pieces I have that are in need of upcycling. I take custom orders at parties (and sometimes can actually squeeze in making your custom pieces right there!), I can ship gift purchases directly to customer's homes, and also take repairs and reworks of all kinds. I always encourage my customers to bring any family heirlooms, clip on earrings, brooches, broken strands of necklaces, etc. to home parties. I base my business on the idea that having pieces you can't or don't want to wear in a jewelry box does no good - have a piece you love made into something you will love to wear! And vintage pieces don't have to be old or expensive, or marked, for them to have wearability value (:

Thank you again, you are sweet for including me in your blog. I added a link to you on my blog: www.starrstrungblog.com today, come check it out!

    see you in July, Erika!(:
