Yesterday was my Makeup & Martini Event with a few of my dear friends at the eyeMAX Cosmetics Studio located in Broad Ripple. I hadn't actually been to Kiralee's (owner Kiralee Hubbard) studio before. What a great space! It's located off the main drag in Broad Ripple in a wonderful renovated home. It's perfect!
The weather was rainy, but it was great for a girls afternoon of Makeup fun. We were all given full on makeovers by Kiralee and one of her great Makeup Artist, Heidi. They are so knowledgeable and helpful - answering any questions we had. I don't typically wear eye makeup (except mascara and eyeliner), but let Kiralee work her magic on my eyes. They looked GREAT (if I must say so myself - LOL). I love how she doesn't use a lot of face powder. She goes for the dewy look for her clients - at your approval. It makes a world of difference. This is the very first time that I have not rushed home to wash my face off after a makeup application. I LOVED what she did. I purchased a new foundation, a foundation brush and a blush. I am definitely going back for the rest of my items.
They also carry a line of super fun jewels by Cheeky Couture. Absolutely fell in love with the necklaces there. But I had to FOCUS on what I was there for -makeup. I did find out that Cheeky Couture will host Trunk Shows in your home! Guess what I'm doing for my holiday girls get together?
Super special thanks to Kiralee and Heidi from eyeMAX for our awesome makeovers, Robin Reese from Reese Realty Group and Gina Beasley from Buca de Beppo for supplying great gift card give aways and Cari Bowersox from Interprintations for our super cute note cards!
All in all, we had the perfect day. I was home early enough to catch spend time with my family, catch a nap and watch one of my favorite shows - The Amazing Race. I also started watching Pan Am. It has potential.
Love getting made up. Looks like you had fun.
