Football

 It's football season as I am sure you all are aware. My husband is a HUGE - I mean HUGE - football fan. Doesn't matter what kind of football, he loves it all.  Me? Not so much. However, I do like a good game in person.  Wait - I should clarify. I don't necessarily like the game. I like the food, the people watching and the energy.

  This past weekend, we joined our friends, The T's, for the IU vs. Penn State game in Bloomington.  We went to the Penn State (he works for Penn State) alumni pep rally which was held in a huge tent.  This crowd was on fire! I am so sorry IU, but I got caught up in the moment and grabbed two Penn State pompoms. I may have even waved them a time or two.  I was wearing my essie Power Clutch nail polish. A lady at the pep rally said " Omgoodness, you even have on blue nail polish! How cool is that".  For some reason, it looked blue in the tent.  Funny - huh?

 Anyway, they weather was absolutely gorgeous.  We all dressed in layers.  I know I look like I am ready for a ski trip, but I was able to shed clothing easily as the temperature warmed up.  We grabbed our hot dogs, popcorn and pretzel bread stick and were ready to go. BTW - what is up with these pretzel companies selling twisted bread sticks as pretzels? Really? Not a fan.......

 The game was very close - Penn State won.  I was secretly cheering for IU. I am a Hoosier after all.  I say secretly because we were sitting in a crowd of blue and white.

 The best? The IU team and cheerleaders all wore pink items in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness month. How cool is that?
