My Sister - Please Pray

 I haven't posted much this past week. My oldest sister, Glenda,  suffered a massive hemorrhagic stroke on Tuesday, July 31st. To say we are in shock is an understatement. She and her husband were in Arlington, VA. We've updated family and friends via Facebook updates. One of my younger sisters started a private blog for the girls (me and our youngest sister) to write happenings from our life in. Our hope is that she will be able to read them all one day.

 The doctors believe she may have been walking around with High Blood Pressure for as many as 10 years. She always had headaches. Now they believe these may have been related.

 I am HORRIBLE at going to the doctor. This has changed my mind completely. I am making an appointment for the doctor as soon as we get back from visiting her.

 Please, please, please have your Blood Pressure checked regularly if you have a family history. If you are diagnosed, please take your medicine as directed by your doctor.

 We don't know the extent of her damage yet because she is in a self induced coma.
