As promised, here is the recipe for Vanilla Sugar. It is simply delicious in my morning coconut flavored coffee. I can not wait to take some to work to spruce up the bland coffee there. This is MUCH cheaper than the kind you buy at some candy stores. You can also use it for hostess gifts!

DIY: Vanilla Infused Sugar

1. Supplies: Sugar, Vanilla Pods, a Jar, decoration (ribbon, label print out, modge podge)
2. Fill the jar half with sugar, and add the seeds of one vanilla pod
3. Mix the seed thoroughly
4. Fill the rest of the jar with sugar and add more vanilla pod seeds
5. Break vanilla pods in half and place it in the sugar
6. Decorate the jar with pretty ribbons and labels
7. You can also flavour the sugar with other flavours like cinnamon, lavender and rosemary.
