A Change is a Comin'....

Many of you recently read about me starting my weight loss and getting fit journey. Well, I actually have another new journey I am starting in the next few weeks.

For many years, I have been in Accounting - Accounts Payable. I am a supervisor for a company based in Paris. No, I haven't been to Paris for business yet - lol. i have worked in Accounts Payable for the majority of my working career. I have seen it change from bookkeeper work to a more streamlined version of what it used to be. This is what I know. The management team and the staff found out a few months ago that the company is centralizing the AP departments in one location. Not our location. This could have meant that we would be unemployed. God is so good. We have actually been given another opportunity. It is something completely different that what I or any of us have done before. Yet, I am still excited. I actually look forward to the challenge! I will still be supervising and I still get to get my team - YAY!!! I'll let you all know what it is as soon as we tell the staff. No, they haven't been told what the new role is yet.


UPDATE: We announced our new department - Billing Operations/Contracts
I'll be doing a bit of travel in the next few months. One trip for transitioning our roles and two more to learn our new roles. Milwaukee and Tampa - here I come!
