Life




 SHRED:

  First of all, I finished my first week of SHRED with an 8 pound weight loss. I can tell you that I never feel hungry and the food selections are very good. I don't really miss the other foods I used to eat. In fact, my group had a birthday pitch in yesterday and all I had was some of the fresh fruit when I could. We usually have some sort of fresh fruit or veggie tray, but the majority of the things are loaded with calories and fat. It wasn't hard to stay away - as long as I stay focused on my end result and lifestyle change.

 I'm finishing week 2 today. I weigh in tomorrow and will post next Saturday. Hopefully, I will have lost at least 4 pounds this week. I'm traveling on business this coming week. This will be a challenge trying to find the foods I can eat and eating when I should. Luckily, we'll have a car and can hit a store for a few items if needed.



WORK:

 Secondly, we had our three days of  training on our new job this week. The group currently doing the work from Tampa came in to train us. Can you imagine coming from sunny, warm Tampa to cold Indy? I mean really cold Indy.  The great thing about my office location is that any out to town visitors can stay at the Hyatt hotel that is connected to my building and all sorts of restaurants and shopping. You don't have to go outside unless you really want to go.

 Anyway, the work is much different that what I do now. We will be reviewing contracts, setting up clients, setting up bills and reconciling accounts.  We will travel to Tampa in a few weeks for more hands on training.


Well, I am off to enjoy my Saturday with my family! What plans do you have this weekend?
