Crab fest 2013

My regular readers here know that for the past two years we've had a seafood feast with another oriole in our neighborhood.

We've called it CrabFest ______(insert the year). 

We split the cost of the seafood and then each make a couple of other dishes. 

Crab legs, corn on the cob and new potatoes are cooked together with Old Bay seasoning packs for flavor. 

Crab cakes, shrimp and chicken kabobs, spinach salad, crab dip rounded out the meal. 

To say we were stuffed is an understatement. It was delish.

Seems everyone on our cul de sac was having a party last weekend. The folks across the street did a big fried chicken dinner with lots of guests. The folks beside us had a cookout. I love our neighborhood !

Some people house hopped eating goodies. We were too full to move!
