I did a recent post about animal prints. Basically, it was a photo montage of animal print photos I found doing research via Pinterest. Little did I know what one of the photos would uncover.

I decided that I had to find out where the cheetah print sweater came from and followed the link to The Glitter Guide - one of my favorite blogs. Not sure how I missed the post about Catherine Yearwood. So, this morning, I was delighted to follow the link to Hallelu and find out more about the shop. The pictures are great, the items in the shop are gorgeous. The shop is located in Wrightsville Beach which is very near my family in Wilmington, North Carolina!
I then clicked on the vimeo which is posted in their "About" section. What a delightful couple! Catherine and her husband, Dave, share their faith and how the stepped out on faith to start Hallelu.

Catherine comes from a long line of entrepreneurs and was inspired to open Hallelu after an afternoon porch conversation with her 90 year old grandfather. Hallelu - born from the root word, Hallelujah - means praise. The highest praise! How awesome is that. I love the name of their shop......
I can't do their story justice here. You must go and read and view it for yourselves. Really - like right now - here.
My husband and I are planning to visit Wilmington next year. Guess where I'll be going? Yep - straight to Hallelu!
This sounds like such a great store and their start-up story is so inspiring.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
I love Glitter Guide too! And Hallelu has some super cute stuff. If I could, I would buy everything!
