Gorgeous fresh roses for our tables |
Every year (except last year), I host a High Tea for a group of friends. I've done them at the historic Indianapolis hotel, The Canterbury and at the Conrad. We've had guest speakers (travel, makeup, etc.). This year, I decided to keep it simple and do it at our home. I invited 12 ladies to attend and we had a BLAST! We always do a tea cup exchange. The teacups are amazing and this year was no exception!

Fresh baked scones with clotted cream and jam |
Jeff Smith's team did the catering and the food was delicious. We had egg salad and bacon finger sandwiches(Oprah fave), cucumber open faced sandwiches and tomato sandwiches. Home made scones and assorted teeny tiny desserts were to die for.
Traditional tea cups were used for our tea. Thanks, Ebay! |
Unfortunately, I didn't get many photos of the food or the table settings, but I did get plenty of the tea cup exchange.
Enjoy!
Erika,
ReplyDeleteThis looks like soooo much fun, you have such wonderful ideas. I so wish we still lived back in Indy so I could join in with all the fun. I love tea!!
Keep up the good work!
