Just Baggin'

I have ALWAYS been a big fan of bags. Even as a little girl, I always had a bag on my arm or in my hand. There are tons of designer bags out that come at a huge price. Some of my favorite, reasonably priced designers are Kate Spade and Tory Burch. They both always have sales and special "Family and Friends" discounts. You can check their websites for some great deals. Also, a few cities have Kate Spade and Tory Burch outlets.

It's a great idea to invest in at least 1 good bag - if you can.  Trust me, for the price you pay for 5 cheaper bags (because they didn't last) - you can have a well constructed, durable, classic bag. I would suggest opting for a traditional color - black, brown, tan.

You must make sure to treat your bag with care. Clean and moisturize it and make sure you store it properly. I have seen some designer bags that people have destroyed because they didn't take care of them. I have bags that I have had for well over 12 years that still look new. All because I took the time out to take care of them. If you are not using your bag, be sure to fill it with tissue paper or those plastic bubble bags to keep the shape. Then, store it in the dust bag that came with your purse. Be careful to follow the cleaning instructions when cleaning and moisturizing your bag. Not every leather can take the leather cleaner.  Your bag should come with care instructions. It is important to follow these instructions.

Your bags can be a great item to pass along to your daughters, granddaughters or anyone special. My husband and I don't have any children of our own (shhhh - don't tell Maxi and Coke).  My bags will go to my niece, Gabrielle. She seems to enjoy being a girl - just as much as I do!
Remember- treat your bag(s) with love and care and you will have them forever.
