I'd like to wish each of you a very Happy Thanksgiving Day! I hope that you each are able to spend the day with those you love. What's better than spending time with loved ones while enjoying some delicious food?
My husband and I usually host Thanksgiving at our home. We are planning on at least 20 people. I love doing it. This year, I am ahead of the game. I made our turkey breast and macaroni and cheese last night. The larger turkey is in the oven now. Everyone else brings the other items.
After dinner, I imagine we will all sit around laughing and playing games - while the guys watch football. Sooner or later, the Black Friday ads will come out and we will plot our game plan. We don't typically go for the big deals. In fact, we just like going and spending time with each other.
I am truly thankful that my sister, Glenda, will be joining us this year. She is the one who had a severe stroke four months ago. She will be able to leave the rehab center and join us for a few hours.
The rest of the weekend will be spent decorating our home for Christmas, addressing Christmas cards and just relaxing.
I am thankful for each of you, my dear readers. Enjoy your day!
