Stylish Saturday - stella & dot

I did it! I signed on to become an Independent Stylist for stella and dot. For those of you who don't know about stella and dot from the website:

My friend, Danette, began selling the products a few months ago. We had seen the beautiful items on fashion bloggers that we follow and loved many of the items. We both really love fashion and have worked in retail in our past lives. 

She took the plunge first. I actually would have done it sooner, but work has been so busy lately that I just haven't had the time to think let alone start a new business. 

Well. I signed on a week ago. I attended my first team meeting four days later. My business supplies arrived two days after I joined. Product arrived the same day as our team meeting. I went straight to the meeting and had to wait to see the beauties until 10:30PM! Let me say - they did not disappoint. 

I was also able to see a lot of the new fall line and old favorites at the team meeting. They had a "trunk show" set up for all of the stylist to touch and feel and wear the items. 

That is basically how the trunk shows work. We set up our shops in the hostess homes and their friends can browse, try on and order at their leisure. How fun is that? I actually have three trunk shows booked.

The items are simply stunning. I have received more compliments from wearing these items. It's fun to be able to go into my boutique and pick items to wear that day.
