Devour Downtown Indy - The Oceanaire Seafood Room

We finally made it to Devour Downtown. This month has been crazy busy and we just couldn't find a good day to go until last night. We had planned on going to The Capital Grille or St. Elmo as I mentioned in a previous post, but reservations go fast and we were slow to make them.

Don't get me wrong,  The Oceanaire is magnificent. The service is on point and the seafood is the freshest you can get (in my opinion) in Indy. Last night was no exception. We met our friends the P's there for dinner. We actually arrived a little early because the Colts were playing a pre-season game.

Shrimp and White Cheddar Grits

As you can see from the pictures, our food looked great and tasted even better! Three of us opted for the DD $30 menu.  The menu included a choice of one items from three different courses. Mr. P decided to get the seared Ahi Tuna which was not on the DD menu.  We also ordered appetizers -- crab cocktail, crab cakes and shrimp and white cheddar grits. Simply delicious!!!!

Crab Cocktail
Salmon with Peach/Blueberry Compote

Devour Downtown ends this Sunday. So, we probably won't be able to try anywhere else for such a great deal this time. But hey- DD  Indy Winter will be here in a few months!

 Have  a great weekend!

If you are in the Indy area, are you planning on attending?  If you are not in Indy, does your city offer the same? I'd love to hear about it!
