Caring Bridge
A few weeks ago, I posted an entry asking for prayers for my oldest sister. You may read the post here. She is still in the ICU and is really taking steps to come back to us. It has been and will be a rough road ahead for her, but we are all here to help her and her husband.
As I was researching facilities here in Indianapolis, I came across an amazing organization - Caring Bridge. Caring Bridge offers families a way to update other family and friends on the health conditions of a loved one. People can leave prayers, thoughts, etc. for the loved one and their family.
My other sisters and I created one for Glenda. It has received an amazing amount of prayers and well wishes from across the country from her friends and family. We update it just about daily with the ups and downs of Glenda's progress. Her husband reads the comments to her daily.
If you have a family or friend in a health situation and would like to set up a similar site, all you need is 5 minutes. Just set up an account here. You can send the link to your family and friends for viewing. There is also an option to keep the site private by requiring a password for viewers.
I can not say enough good things about this site and others like it.
