 I have been on a search for a new pair of jeans for quite a few months now. I probably have four pair of jeans. Two of which are my absolute favorites. Since I have been working out pretty regularly, none of them really fit like I want them to fit. My quest for finding new jeans has finally ended with  a pair from my old reliable - Banana Republic. Why I didn't just start there, I don't know.

The problem I had was the thigh part of the jeans. Just about every pair I tried on had the same problem. The thighs were waaaayyyyy too skinny. I have pretty thin thighs and no hips (unfortunately), but these seemed to hug my thighs like they were painted on.  I am all about fashion, but not at the cost of comfort.  (Exception - a super cute pair of shoes -   LOL) Oh, and I refuse to purchase MOM jeans - refuse.

 The pair I purchased from BR are the Martin fit which has always fit me perfectly. This new pair was no exception. They are SUPER comfortable.

  Fall fashion is hitting the stores now. I am actually excited about it. Not the cold weather necessarily, but the clothing. There are so many cute things out there for fall. I actually did a bit of fall shopping on line and in stores the other day. I can not wait for my goodies to arrive and find their home in my closet.

   I am super excited about Banana Republic's Mad Men Collection debuting on August 11th, 2011.  The photos above from two of my favorite personal style blogs feature a trench coat and a sweater from the Limited Edition collection. I want them BOTH! 

 Select Banana Republic stores are hosting a launch party for the Mad Men collection on August 11th at 6PM.  Unfortunately, Indianapolis isn't one of those cities. Chicago is pretty close - who knows maybe it's time for a road trip (just kidding, hubby).  Visit here for locations.  Be sure to let me know if you attend one of the events. Now that I have stopped doing the artificial nail thing, I use a LOT of nail polish. Reminds me of my younger days when I changed polish almost every day and earned the nickname "Queenie". That is another story. I was all of 18 or so and didn't have a care in the world. So, I could change polish everyday. I still have the luxury of changing a few times a week, but please don't call me Queenie - LOL.

I get asked alot about what polishes I am wearing. I tend to favor Chanel, Essie and OPI. They just tend to last a bit longer than others.  I just recently discovered the Banana Republic makes a nail polish. I purchased a pinkish red and a blush color on our recent trip to the Cincy Premium Outlet Mall. The next one I want to try is Julep nail polish. above are my go to colors.
