I won, I won.......

  One of the first blogs I started following was Cheetah is the New Black. I love the writer because she is so down to earth and she makes you feel like you know her. 

 Just about every Saturday morning, I sit down early in the morning with my cup of coconut coffee and my little Coco (my unofficial assistant) and read all of my favorite blogs. The very first one I check out is Cheetah is the New Black. Gotta see what my girl is up to - right? Well, this week, I cheated and read a little bit earlier. SO glad I did because I found out that I was one of the winners of the    10 Revlon® ColorStay™ Smoky Shadow Sticks contest from her blog! Yay, me! The video above shows Alicia (CistheNB) using the product. It's a cute video and not long at all.

  Fall fashion is hitting the stores now. I am actually excited about it. Not the cold weather necessarily, but the clothing. There are so many cute things out there for fall. I actually did a bit of fall shopping on line and in stores the other day. I can not wait for my goodies to arrive and find their home in my closet.

   I am super excited about Banana Republic's Mad Men Collection debuting on August 11th, 2011.  The photos above from two of my favorite personal style blogs feature a trench coat and a sweater from the Limited Edition collection. I want them BOTH! 

 Select Banana Republic stores are hosting a launch party for the Mad Men collection on August 11th at 6PM.  Unfortunately, Indianapolis isn't one of those cities. Chicago is pretty close - who knows maybe it's time for a road trip (just kidding, hubby).  Visit here for locations.  Be sure to let me know if you attend one of the events. Last Saturday morning - correction early last Saturday morning, I couldn't sleep. So, I decided to get up and go into my office and do some work.  Black blog. The blog is written by Alicia who happens to live in one of my favorite cities, San Francisco. She loves cheetah print - hence the blog name - and fashion,  vintage, great food and great photos.  She's also listed some things to do while in SF on her blog. Trust me, if you love fashion, you'll love this blog! I love the way she's wearing all of the cheetah print in the first picture. I never would have thought of that, but it works!  Once I finished reading her blog, I decided to check out some of her favorite blogs. That is when I found the Atlantic Pacific Blog written by BEE. She's also in San Francisco. Lovin' the Vintage LV bag!

I'm loving the layers on this outfit. anyone who has been to SF knows how chilly it can be. Layers are perfect. You can shed a few and add them to your bag as the day goes on.

  I love these blogs because they show real people wearing real  clothes. Both blogs list the name of the designer or where they purchased the items from. What's super cool is that they typically have a mix of designer items AND items from H&M and Forever 21. You all know how I love a good bag and these ladies have some great ones.
