What's Happening in Indy ........ and a Great give away!

Looking to spruce up your look without purchasing a whole new wardrobe?  Nothing does the trick better than properly fitted under garments. Specifically, a properly fitted bra. I remember my first bra fitting at Nordy's. I had no idea I was wearing the wrong bra size! It made a world of difference in my appearance.  You should be fitted for your proper bra size professionally every 6-8 months. You should also be fitted professionally should you lose or gain weight. So, where can you get answers to all of your bra fitting questions? At the Under Construction event, of course!

You may be asking "What exactly is Under Construction"? Under Construction, is the first Imagecube Live event. With a conversational style in the beautiful SkyLine club in downtown Indianapolis, Sola Adelowo - of Imagecube  and Barbara Gilbert - of Barbara's New Beginnings will guide you toward a new level of knowledge and expertise about bras. As a result of this session you’ll be able to get clear answers to your undergarment questions, once and for all. What’s more, you’ll benefit from pricing perks and other exclusive benefits.

Bonus Time:  Sola has offered a pair of tickets ($50 value) to one lucky elements of my life  reader! All you need to do is leave a comment below and your email (so we may notify you if you are the winner). A winner will be drawn using Random Integer on Thursday, July 21st, 2011 and announced on Friday, July 22nd, 2011.

When you consider the power of presentation you know there’s more to getting dressed than simply putting on clothes. It was this instinctive awareness, combined with unique life experiences that led Sola Adelowo to launch ImageCube, LLC to help people harness the power of image.

Born in Dallas, Texas to Nigerian parents Sola was raised for much of her childhood in Nigeria while her parents received their undergraduate and graduate degrees in the U.S. Her cultural experiences included clothing that was most often handmade by a tailor. Through family connections such as her maternal grandmother, a fabric merchant and paternal grandparents who were active in the community Sola gained knowledge of how powerful image can be at an early age. Fine fabrics, talented tailors, and colorful, well-tailored clothing helped to shape her interest in the power of beautiful, purposeful, and personalized clothing.

With a BA in Sociology from Wellesley College, an MBA from Post University in the works, and more than a decade in the corporate world, Sola brings intuitive knowledge, a practical awareness of corporate culture, and proven research and theory to her ImageCube clients. She is a certified image consultant of the Association of Image Consultants International, a certified Myers-Brigg Personality Type Practitioner, and has been a featured fashion expert on the Fox 59 Morning News Show, WISH-TV’s Indy Style and The Indianapolis Recorder’s Recorder-On-Air-Report.

Sola lives her vision every day, volunteering for community non-profits Dress for Success of Indianapolis and Indianapolis Society of Human Resource Management. Furthermore, Sola is also the Executive Director & Co-Producer of the Midwest Fashion Week.
